The “Karna” food supplement is a therapeutic composition whose effect is based on the molecular structure of beta-glucans. In the Karna product, biologically active, water-soluble beta-glucans are combined in a specific ratio according to their molecular weight. This targeted combination determines the product’s biological activity and easy bioavailability.

Beta-glucans isolated from the cell walls of yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) have been actively researched at Biocentras since 2012. The natural beta-glucan products developed at Biocentras stand out because they are made from soluble beta-glucans obtained using an innovative technology under Biocentras’ international patent WO2015159134 A1.

Electrostatic interaction between the virus and beta-glucan

Like other bio-colloids (bacteria, proteins), viruses have a net surface charge that depends on the pH of the medium. These electrical charges determine the mobility of the virus in an electric field (in body fluids, outside and inside cells) and regulate its behaviour as a colloid. The surface charge of viruses plays an important role in binding to the membrane of host cells. In many cases, viruses have a negative electrical surface charge.

The beta-glucans produced at Biocentras carry an electrical charge opposite to that of the virus. On contact with the virus, the beta-glucans neutralise its electrical surface charge, the virus becomes neutral and cannot penetrate the cell. After some time, the deactivated virus is eliminated from the body, thus preventing the infection from spreading.

The preparation Karna Virout produced by Biocentras consists of water-soluble beta-glucans of different molecular weights, which provides a great advantage in fighting viruses. These beta-glucans are taken enterally, easily enter the blood and the body’s lymphatic tissue, and thus reach the most distant organs and the sites where the virus is localised. Regardless of the size of the virus (which can range from 100 to 500 nanometres)

Karna Virout product works effectively, as it contains both very small, low-molecular-weight beta-glucans (about 1 nm in size) and larger, higher-molecular-weight beta-glucans (5–18 nm in size).

Use of beta-glucans

The food supplement made by Biocentras, Karna Virout consists of water-soluble beta-glucans of different molecular weights. Thanks to a unique technology, combinations A and B of beta-glucans covering a wide range of molecular weights are formed from the 48 beta-glucan fractions obtained.

How to take Karna Virout

One Karna Virout antiviral course consists of 10 (30 ml) bottles: 5 of preparation A and 5 of preparation B. The A and B-labelled Karna Virout solutions should be taken alternately, one bottle every 4 hours (first A, 4 hours later B, then A again, and so on until all ten bottles in the box have been taken). All 10 bottles must be taken within 40 hours; the virus is then effectively stopped and the infection brought under control.
