Description
This cream with a soft, airy texture, a unique enzyme complex and a biologically active beta-glucan concentrate suits all skin types and is recommended for daily facial care. The light moisturising cream leaves the skin soft and smooth and can be used as a make-up base.
The unique seven-enzyme complex in the formula works at all stages of epidermal renewal: it removes the hardened skin layer and promotes faster skin renewal, healing and collagen synthesis. As the enzyme complex acts selectively, it can be called a “smart” bio-ingredient that helps our skin stay young for longer.
The biologically active yeast beta-glucans of different molecular sizes (from 1 to 10,000 kDa) in the formula strengthen the protective properties of the epidermis, moisturise and promote healing processes. According to the literature, even longer-chain glucans can penetrate the epidermis and influence processes in the skin. Beta-glucans activate Langerhans cells and have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects. Beta-glucans stimulate the synthesis of new collagen. The soothing and anti-allergic effect of beta-glucans is often mentioned.
The argan oil in the formula is one of the most expensive and valuable plant oils, often called the white gold of Morocco. It is rich in the essential fatty acids omega-6 and omega-9 and in plant sterols, which help maintain the skin’s natural functions and slow down oxidation processes. This wonderfully moisturising and nourishing oil is especially rich in vitamin E. It helps reduce skin dryness and flaking and is particularly suitable for caring for mature, ageing skin, for nourishing the whole body after sunbathing and for the delicate skin around the eyes. The oil effectively smooths and firms, leaving the skin extremely soft and youthful.
The formula is also enriched with other oils that are valuable for the skin – grape seed, jojoba and walnut – which have antioxidant, anti-ageing, sebum-regulating, elasticity-enhancing and restorative effects. Oat extract is known for its soothing and moisturising effect on the skin. Being hydrophilic, oat proteins bind water molecules, so they moisturise the epidermis well, form a conditioning film on its surface and leave the skin feeling smooth.
Low-molecular-weight oat proteins penetrate the deeper skin layers and moisturise there, while high-molecular-weight proteins, thanks to their film-forming effect, act as good moisturisers on the skin surface. The latter also have a soothing, smoothing and lifting effect.
Oat extract has a softening and soothing effect on irritated skin and on skin affected by seborrhoea and itching of various origins. Oatmeal has long been used in cosmetics as an ingredient in face masks and as a soap additive for sensitive and irritated skin. In addition, regardless of molecular weight, all oat protein hydrolysates and their derivatives improve compatibility between surfactants and the skin, reducing irritation caused by tension.
